Philip concentrates his work on acting for shipowners, charterers and traders in London and US disputes which involve strings of charterparties or sale contracts governed by English and US law. Apart from his primary focus on charterparty and commodity disputes, Philip regularly advises clients on sanctions compliance and sanctions-related disputes, particularly in the shipping industry.

His professional interests also include bunker supply disputes, maritime liens and general commercial arbitration. As a lawyer also admitted in Russia, Philip assists clients in matters concerning Russian contract and marine insurance law.

Before joining Floyd Zadkovich, Philip trained and worked at several top-tier shipping and commercial dispute firms in Russia where he assisted P&I Clubs, domestic and international clients in a variety of casualty, marine insurance and enforcement disputes.
